Anchorage Restaurant, situated just a stone’s throw from the iconic Lagoon Beach, is the perfect venue, whether it be for morning coffee and breakfast, a quick lunch between walks or tours, a boozy afternoon in the sun, or a relaxing dinner after a hard days exploring.
Czech-born Executive Chef David Chlumsky brings experience from acclaimed Sydney restaurants Otto, Quay and Longrain, and combines his passion for the Island and utilising local produce with his love of modern and innovative food.
Anchorage Restaurant offers modern Australian cuisine utilising local ingredients, and an ever-changing menu, always featuring the best of locally caught fish and locally grown fruits & vegetables. We are the only restaurant serviced by private aircraft to import the freshest produce direct from the markets.
The on-site bakery offers daily baked artisan sourdough, traditional loaves and Turkish breads, along with house-made pies, cakes and pastries. We also make cakes and baked goods to order – including wedding/birthday cakes for your special events.
Anchorage Restaurant is also available as a function venue for up to 80 guests as a sit down dinner, or 150 for a canapé reception.

Set amongst the forest, surrounded by timber decks, the Arajilla Restaurant is elegant yet casual. Here international-style cuisine, with a seafood emphasis, is complemented by a wide choice of Australian and New Zealand wines.
For guests the room tariff includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. Dine in the restaurant, in the comfort of your suite or in one of the many spectacular locations with a picnic hamper or barbeque pack in hand. Each evening the retreat offers ‘Happy Hour’, with Arajilla guests offered complimentary selected pre-dinner drinks.
The restaurant is open daily for breakfast from 8am to 10am, and for a light lunch from midday to 2pm (for in-house guests only). For dinner the restaurant opens at 6.30pm for in-house guests as well as outside diners (by reservation).

Beachcomber Lodge invites you to enjoy their onsite boutique-style restaurant set within tropical gardens and nestled underneath a beautiful Jacaranda tree. Beachcomber is fully licensed and offers guests an opportunity to dine out at a low cost.
Our restaurant is open 5 nights a week during peak season (October until the end of April). During the week our restaurant opens for a three-course traditional island fish fry buffet, complete with entrée, buffet mains with a variety of salads made with local produce, battered local fish and chips, and finished with mouth-watering buffet desserts, tea, and coffee -an experience that has been a tradition at Beachcomber for decades.
We are conscious of sustainable living, which is why we grow as much produce as we can to use in our restaurant. These include pumpkin, potato, eggplant, spinach, rhubarb, herbs, bananas, pawpaw, oranges, limes, lemons, and have chooks that supply us with fresh organic eggs.
For our houseguests, breakfast can be included in the tariff, served between 8 – 9.30am daily in peak season.

The Coral Cafe’s friendly staff will make you a fresh healthy lunch, including tasty beef or vegetarian burgers, sandwiches and wraps – or focaccia with roast veg, chicken, and local avocado, and garden salad with smoked salmon. Everything you need to refuel for your next island adventure. The Coral Cafe is fully licensed so you can enjoy a glass or wine or an ale with your meal, all served in a peaceful, relaxed atmosphere.

Thompson’s Store is a great place to grab a quick bite. Thompson’s tasty takeaway menu includes a variety of burgers, fish and chips, gourmet rolls, and salads, pies, pastries, coffee and sweet treats.
The store is open 7 days a week for takeaway lunch. Burger Bar opens from 11.30am to 2.00pm. Roast Chickens are available on a Monday.
